The 2017 NAPA DC Fly-In Forum is a convergence of the nation’s elite advisors in Washington, DC for the purpose of engaging with key federal policy makers and advocating for legislative and regulatory policy that affects the industry.
This year, as we confront the disruptions resulting from the fiduciary regulation, the uncertainty attendant with a change in Administrations, and the potential for tax reform to undermine vital retirement plan incentives, that perspective – and that voice – are more critical to the nation’s retirement security than ever before.
Delegates to the Forum, now in its fifth year, will gain insights from, and have a chance to connect with, federal policymakers on strategic issues, including how retirement is addressed within federal tax reform, implementation of Department of Labor’s fiduciary rule, new state legislative initiatives, and revenue-sharing litigation.
The NAPA DC Fly-In Forum is a unique opportunity for the nation’s leading retirement plan advisors to share their perspectives and voice their concerns with decision-makers in our nation’s Capitol.
Through your membership in NAPA, the DC Fly-In Forum is the way for you to have your voice heard and get the inside scoop on what’s going on, and what’s coming down the road. You’ll gain a competitive edge, and your voice will be heard.
PLEASE NOTE: Delegates to the Forum must:
- be a NAPA member;
- be responsible for $100M+ in plan assets, 10+ plans and 2,000+ participants; and

Help Build the Next Generation of Advisor Advocates
This year approved elite advisor delegates to the NAPA DC Fly-in Forum have the opportunity to bring a junior advisor to attend. The junior advisor should have less than 5 years of retirement plan experience, be an individual already working in the retirement plan space that would benefit from the experience, and who is ready for an expanded level of involvement in our profession.
PLEASE NOTE: The senior advisor-delegate must accompany the junior advisor to the NAPA DC Fly-In Forum and to the March on Capitol Hill.
You will be able to recommend a junior advisor colleague as part of your application process.
